A hands-on music and technology program where students learn how to create beats, use samples, design sounds, and complete their own music project.
What Is Beats & Bytes?
Beats & Bytes is a 6-week program for middle and high school students. Students learn how to create music using digital tools in a structured, beginner-friendly environment.
Each session helps students build step by step, from making drum patterns to creating a finished track and visual artwork.
What Students Will Do
Students will:
- Build drum patterns and beats
- Use samples to create new music ideas
- Record or use everyday sounds creatively
- Arrange a full track with a beginning, middle, and end
- Design simple album artwork
- Share their final project
